Jerry was the project manager of blue lake subdivision in el jebel. He was also an avid hunter, a gifted mechanic, a teacher, a traveler, and a man with more stories than anyone could count. He was able to hunt with his kids and grandchildren into his 80s, as well as jump off a moving train at 80 because in his travels it became necessary.
He was born with the mechanical gift he had to use at an early age working on his dad’s farm. From a caterpillar dozer down to a weed eater there wasn’t a motor he hasn’t fixed. With rarely just one project waiting on his bench he stayed the mechanic to the end. The day he passed he made his way to his shop to tell family and friends how to fix his truck and the sprinkler system.
Jerry expressed his wishes after his 64th wedding anniversary on August 18,2026 with Ida Burnaman. He wanted to make it to her birthday and pass peacefully beside her. Ever a man of his word he passed two days after her birthday.
Jerry is preceded in death by his grandson Cash Burnaman. He is survived by Ida Burnaman. His children Melissa McCollum, Tammy Sells, Kathy Burnaman, and Josh Burnaman. His grandchildren Tyler sells, Hailey Gray Wyatt Gray, and Wilder Gray.
