Jewell Pauline Narramore

Jewell Pauline (Williams) Narramore, 94 years old of Naturita, Colorado, passed away peacefully on December, 28th 2025. She was born in Blairs Creek, MO, on March 5th, 1931, to Virgil and Lulu Williams. She first moved to this area in the early 1950’s, left for a while, and returned to Naturita in 1967, where she lived the rest of her life. Jewell was a strong-willed, caring woman who never left you wondering what she was thinking. Jewell loved her family fiercely. Visiting with friends and her family was her favorite pastime. Her passions were gardening, arrowhead hunting, sewing, crocheting, preserving food, and the outdoors.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Rex Narramore; her sons, James Rex Narramore Jr and Beva Halliburton Leyerly. Parents Virgil and Lulu Williams. Paternal Grandparents, Charlie and Leona Williams. Maternal Grandparents, William T and Mary Knuckles. Her siblings: Denver McCabe, Paul Williams, Oneita (Williams) Sutherland, Gene Williams, Floyd Williams, Gerald (Dank) Williams, Willard Williams, Moleane Williams-Barenz, and her great-grandson, Blake James Nunemann.

She is survived by her children, Elizabeth Manis, Clint Leyerly, Toliver (Mike) Narramore, and Tanya Narramore; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at 12 pm at the New Hope Pentecostal Church-God in Naturita, Colorado.
