

Joan will be remembered as a dedicated and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend.
She had a fun-loving free spirit, with a kind sense of humor.
Joan was born in Burlington, Wisconsin to Andrew and Margaret Rueter (Warren) on January 26th, 1934. She spent her early life in Burlington, Wisconsin and graduated from St. Mary's High School. She also lived many years in West Fargo, North Dakota, Glenwood Springs, and Grand Junction, Colorado.
She is survived by 4 children; Debbie (Kevin) Freed of New Castle, Colorado, Brian Bercher of Phoenix, Arizona, Kevin (Pam) Bercher of Ault, Colorado, and Blair (Shelley) Bercher of Grand Junction, Colorado. Her Brother James A. Rueter of Burlington, Wisconsin and daughter-in-law Char Bercher of Rifle, Colorado. Six grandchildren; Ryan and Kelly (Lina) Freed, Andrew (Whitney) and Chloe Bercher, Heather (David) Hoffman, and Rob (Kari) Bercher III. 12 Great-grandchildren; Charlie and Taylor, Cruz and Anderson Freed, Jaela and Lilliana Bercher, Nathan, Lindsey, Caleb Hoffman, Hunter, Brock, and Aubie Bercher. Many Nieces and Nephews.
Joan was preceded in death by her Parents Andy and Margaret Rueter, her Son Robert Bercher Jr., Sister Jean M. Winkler (Ollie) , Brother John M. Rueter, and sister-in-law Marilynn Rueter .
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 11 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Grand Junction, Colorado. Inurnment will follow the service at Immaculate Heart of Mary's Columbarium Niche.
