John R. Brown, born on November 9, 1933 in Delta Colorado to Peter J. and Athena
Brown passed away unexpectedly at the VA Medical Center on Monday, July 13, 2015.
John, known to many of his customers and friends as "Barber John", had been a
barber in the grand valley for over 60 years. He was a Navy Veteran during the Korean
War.
John is survived by his wife Carol Brown, his sister Virginia Hull (Montana), his boys,
Eric (Denise) Brown, Jason (Amy) Brown and his three grandchildren, Ethan Brown,
Dakotah Brown and Justin Brown.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 20, 2015 at Martin Mortuary with burial at 1:00 PM at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
A visitation will be held from 2-4:00 PM, Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Martin Mortuary.
