John J. Miller of Loma passed away at HopeWest on March 11, 2015, after a nine year battle with lung cancer.
He was born on May 28, 1943, in Colorado Springs and moved to Grand Junction when he was eight years old. He graduated from Grand Junction Central High School in 1962.
John was a strong-willed and fun-loving man, and would help anybody at the drop of a hat. He loved fishing and hunting, and was an accomplished, fun-loving bowler.
John married Bobbi Tabor. This July would have marked 49 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbi; son, Travis (Carolyn) Miller; and grandchildren, Jayden and Trevor Miller all of Loma, Colorado. His son, Jay D. Miller; and his sister, Justine Sampson, preceded him in death.
A Celebration of Life will be held at their home, 1182 P Road, Loma, CO, on Saturday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m.
