Mr. Slothower was a superintendent with the government.
Survivors include his wife, Donna; one son, Scott T. of Denver; one daughter, Danielle Camp of Grand Junction; and three grandchildren.

John Tyson Slothower, son of Lillian and Harry Slothower, was born July 28, 1946 in Denver, Colorado. He passed away on January 29, 2014 in Grand Junction, Colorado. He is survived by his wife Donna Christian Slothower, and daughter Danielle Camp, son Scott Slothower, and three grandchildren, Daniel, Tyson, and Taylor.
