John Wolverton of Grand Junction, passed away in his sleep on February 14, 2021. He was 67. John was born on September 14, 1953 in Delta, Colorado from the union of Charles and Yoshiko Wolverton. He spent his childhood in Delta, and graduated from Olathe High School. He was a proud Air Force Veteran, serving primarily as a Medical Specialist. His last assignment was with an airborne warning and control squadron. Upon returning to civilian life, he continued his work in the medical field as a Licensed Practical Nurse. John enjoyed traveling, hunting, fishing, playing guitar, collecting knives, guns, Harley-Davidson Motorcycles, and the friendship of dogs. He leaves behind a daughter, Tessa Case of Delta, Colorado; a brother, Kenneth Wolverton of Raeford, North Carolina; a sister, Jane Wolf of Cedaredge, Colorado; and four grandchildren to cherish his memory. Services will take place at a later date.
