Joseph Thomas Olesky, Age 74, of Grand Junction, passed away on Sunday, January 5, 2025. He was born on November 16, 1950, in Grand Junction, CO, to Walter and Esther Olesky. Joseph, known to loved ones as “Tom,” was a lifelong Catholic and deeply committed to serving Jesus Christ. Tom spent his life in retail management with a specialization in the pet industry. He was an avid golfer and known by everyone for his kindness and playful sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his father, Walter, and his mother, Esther.
Tom is survived by his son, Andrew [Monica]; grandsons, Zechariah, Isaac, Joshua, and Elian; brothers Charles [Penny] and Marty; and his sisters, Mary Pat and Judy [Charles].
The Rosary service will be held at Callahan Edfast Funeral Home in Grand Junction, on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at 6:30 pm. The funeral will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, on Monday, January 13, 2025, at 11:00 am. His burial will be held at Calvary Cemetery, on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 10:30 am.
