On September 21, 2020 Karen (Powell) Chambers of Clifton, Colorado passed away at 78 after a short battle with cancer. Karen was born June 24, 1942 in Springfield, Illinois to Dale Powell and Marcella (Walch) Powell. She was a avid cook and loved fishing.
Karen is survived by her loving husband of 58 years James L. Chambers, Sister Nancy Latta of Henderson, KY, Brother Richard Powell of Wasilla, AK, Brother-in-law Donald Reynolds of Decatur, IL , Sister-in-law Mary Louise Horndeck of Orlando, FL, son Rick Chambers (Jeani) of Pottboro, TX and grandsons Nikolas, Devon, and Caiden; Mike Chambers of Clifton, CO and grandchildren Michael and Amy and 3 great grandchildren. She loved her dog Raven and cat Bridgette.
She was predeceased in death by her parents, son James Lee Chambers, and grandson Bradley Aksel.
There will be private services at Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Grand Junction, Colorado.
