Kathryn Lydia Hunt

May 16, 1934 - December 6, 2013

Kathryn Hunt, age 79, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on December 6, 2013, surrounded by her loving family after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.

Kathy was raised on the Sixes River in Oregon, and graduated from high school in Port Orford, Oregon. She was full of life and had a great sense of humor. She was a very kind and gentle person who loved animals, gardening, camping, riding horses, fishing the ocean and watching the dolphins play. She had traveled and led an adventurous life.

She had a special love for her companion dog, Bear, who never left her side. She had a great talent for cooking, jewelry making, and a terrific green thumb. She loved to be outside in all of God's splendor.

Kathy is preceded in death by her parents and sister.

She is survived by her children, Cori and Scott Vroman of Grand Junction, Colorado; Vicki and Barry Kaplan of Scottsdale, Arizona; Marsha and Don Davis of Moapa, Nevada; Howard and Julie Morris of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, Charles and Jo Bullock of Spokane, WA, and her dear life long friends, Pat and David Towne, of Portland, Oregon. She is also survived by many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at a later date.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
