Kelly Mae Myers

March 23, 1996 – February 28, 2015

Kelly Myers was born on March 23, 1996 from the union of Matt and Ranette Lee Myers. She was a lifelong resident of the Grand Junction area and attended Thunder Mountain Elementary School, Grand Mesa Middle School and Central High School.

As a child she enjoyed playing softball with the Grand Mesa Little League, an activity that continued into her later years. Free spirited, friends and family will always remember Kelly blasting music and singing in the car. She liked to express her emotions through writing and was always on Facebook or messaging friends. She had grown to enjoy makeup and taking selfies with her sisters. Favorite past times were hanging out with friends and family and they remember her often encouraging them by saying “Stay Up!”. She was loved and will be missed by all her friends and family.

Kelly leaves behind her parents; Matt Myers and Kim Lee, her siblings; Tiarra Myers, Lexie Stucker, Brandon Myers, Amanda Lee Hurst, Stephan Douglas and Sarah Douglas, grandparents; Doug and Judy Moore, Constance Kallas, Bob and Sandy Wallace, her aunt; Charlotte Moore, her uncle; Tom Myers, and cousins; Breonna, Chris Myers and the Wallaces.

She was preceded in death by her mother; Ranette Lee Myers.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, March 8, 2015 at Martin Mortuary.
