Mr. Moe was a field technician.

Survivors include his wife Dolores Chihocky; five daughters, Amanda Moe, Heidi Davidson, Marisela Vigil, Elisia Ortiz and Brianna Ortiz, all of Grand Junction; his father, Lloyd Melvin of Bottineau, N.D.; two brothers, Lonnie of Spearfish, S.D. and Jeff of Minneapolis; one sister Cindy of Minneapolis; and nine grandchildren.

Kent Lloyd Moe

August 28, 1955 - December 26, 2013

Kent Lloyd Moe (58) passed away on December 26th, 2013, following a brief illness.

He was born and raised in Bottineau, ND by his parents, Lloyd Moe (still of Bottineau) and Mavis (Larson) Sutter (who preceded him in death in September 2012).

Kent married Samantha (Finnie) and they raised two daughters, Mandi Moe (son Logan) and Heidi (Moe) Davidson (Jeremy, children Keaton and Kelsey).

Kent relocated his family to Grand Junction, CO in 1991, and became a field technician for the Department of Energy. He enjoyed his job as it allowed him to work outside and travel.

After Kent and Samantha divorced, he met and married Dolores Chihocky and gained three step-daughters, Marisela Vigil (Mark, children Ayla and Isabel), Elisia Ortiz (Cody Topai, children Elijah, Mya, and Jaycob), and Brianna Ortiz (daughter Airianna).

Kent loved the outdoors, camp fires, motorcycle rides, and music. He was a hard worker, a good provider, and had a heart of gold. His distinctive, hearty laugh will be missed by all who knew him. His tremendous love for his family and friends will never be forgotten.

Kent is survived by all those listed above as well as two brothers, Lonnie (and family) of Spearfish, SD, and Jeff (and family) of Minneapolis, MN, and sister, Cindy Rae (and cats) also of Minneapolis.
