Kitty Lu Cranston Broyles, 78, of Montrose, Colorado, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026. Born on November 28, 1947, in El Dorado, Arkansas, Kitty spent her early years in her hometown before building a life centered on family, faith, and friendship.
Kitty was preceded in death by her husband, William “Sam” Broyles, and by her sister, Betty June “BJ” Ramsey.
She is survived by her children, Richard Walsh and his wife, Dedra, and Rhonda Hendricks and her husband, Joe, as well as four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who all brought her immense pride and joy.
Kitty will be remembered most for her radiant smile, her sassy personality, and the joy she brought into the lives of those around her. She was a devoted mother, a faithful church member, and a loyal friend to many.
She loved traveling, music, enjoying sunsets, and time with those she loved. Kitty’s legacy of love, perseverance, and joy will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
