Kristine Lynne Ogle

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Kristine Lynne Ogle. She passed at home on May 25th, 2025, in Clifton, Colorado. Kristen was known to those who knew her as Kris. Kris was born June 23, 1948, to William and Betty Bonner.

She was a devoted Christian. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church. There, she was a member of the church board, volunteered with the puppet ministry, and was very active in the church until 2019. She enjoyed art and music, going to Hobby Lobby, and window shopping with her granddaughter. Watching her favorite shows and anything to do with nature were also among the things she loved. Kris was a devoted wife and mother and a proud grandmother to her ten grandchildren.

Kris was a woman of deep faith, quiet strength, and endless compassion. She lived her life in service to others, through her family, her church, and her country. Kris will be remembered for her warm heart, her gentle spirit, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved.

She is survived by her husband Jim Ogle, her brother Kraig (Arliss) Bonner, two daughters, Laura Gale and Kathleen, and her ten grandchildren. She had no great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, William and Betty Bonner, and her youngest daughter, Mattie Ogle.

A veteran's committal service with Navy honors for Kristine will be held Monday, July 21, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 1:20 PM at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado, 2830 Riverside Pkwy, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
