Laura Kay Campbell

Laura Kay Campbell, age 69, of Delta Colorado, passed away on September 12th, 2025. Born on May 6th, 1956, in Grand Junction, Colorado. Laura lived a life of service, love, and dedication to both country and family.

Laura proudly served in the United States Army from September 22, 1976 thru August 19, 1980; Achieving the rank of Specialist (E-4). During her time in the military, she embodied honor, courage, and commitment, values that remained central throughout her life. After her military service, she was honorably discharged after enduring a brain aneurysm. She regained her strength and came back twice as strong. Family and friends will remember her as someone who was deeply loyal, strong-willed, and compassionate.

Laura is survived by Debra Campbell; Sister. Nephew James and Niece-in-law Inga Marshall. Niece Jennifer Marshall. Great Nephews; Trysten, David, and Brandon and a Great Niece; Jasmine and three Great Great Nephews; Exavier, Zyler, and Isaiah. She was preceded in death by James, her brother, James lucian, her father, and Virginia Campbell, her beloved mom

A service honoring Laura’s life and military service will be held on October 9th at 1 pm at Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

The family extends their gratitude to Hospice and Grand Junction's VA Medical Center for their care and support. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Operation Second Chance. Laura will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her devotion to country, family, and friends.
