Laura was born on August 3, 1960, in Inglewood, CA, to Alvin Lee Johnson and Sharon Doyle. She spent her childhood in California. She was a horticulturist and loved to go camping, fishing and spending as much time as she could outdoors with her family.
Survivors include her loving husband, Charles Daniel Ettinger, whom she married on September 21, 1991, in Cedaredge, CO; son, Christopher Martin Cyphers, of Midland, NC; daughters, Sharon Leeann Triplett, of Tulsa, OK, Malinda Dawn Cyphers, of Tulsa, OK, Robin Jeanette Hunt, of Grand Junction, CO, brother, Bill Comer (Janelle), of Paonia, CO, sister, Elaine Umbower, of Indiana, and 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Sharon; father, Alvin; brothers, Lee Comer, Brian Comer and Larry Comer; and Norman Lee Cyphrs of Palisade, CO, to whom she was previously married for 22 years.
