

Laurence Eldred Beazley went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday April 26, 2014 at the age of 89. He was a loving husband and Father. Laurence was born on February 27, 1925 in Long Beach, California. He graduated Anaheim High School in 1942. After serving in the Army from 1945-1947 and during his time in World War II he met the Love of his life Lorraine and they were married in Chicago on December 26, 1948.
After they were married, they moved to Artesia, California and had three children Jeffrey, Joyce, and Miriam. After the kids were born Laurence and Lorraine moved to the Central Valley of California. When they purchased the property he milked cows and later became a bus driver/custodian for 25 years in the Livingston school district. Laurence was involved with many organizations with both Stevinson Community Bible Church for 12 years and Atwater Community Bible Church for 35 years. He worked as an AWANA commander, led music, and worked with the Youth Group taking them to camp, playing his trumpet, singing, and participating with harvest festivals. Along with all of the missions he was involved with, his passion was serving the Lord in any situation.
After his retirement Laurence loved to build furniture, paint, and take care of the animals on his property. Laurence and Lorraine moved to Grand Junction in 2006.
Laurence is survived by his wife Lorraine. They were married for 66 years when the Lord called him home. Along with his loving wife, he is also survived by his son Jeffrey (Sally), daughter Joyce (Allen), daughter Miriam (Carl), and sisters Lillian Joffer and Georgiella Essenwanger. He is also leaving behind 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
