Lavonne Rubalcaba

She was born in Grand Junction October 14, 1969, to Ron and Rosela Rubalcaba. Lavonne grew up in Grand Junction before moving to Denver. She was an avid softball player through her school years and went to college to be a Beautician. Lavonne had an adventurous spirit, outgoing personality and a kind heart. She always had Bravys, her cat, by her side which she cherished very much. She will always be remembered for giving to those in need and loving with her entire soul. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

Lavonne is survived by her parents, Rosela and Ron Rubalcaba; children, Dannielle Wieker, Makai Alexander, Koby Rubalcaba, and Athena McElory; grandson Ryder Wieker; sister, Janet Dowdy; brother, Kevin Rubalcaba; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved her dearly.

Lavonne is welcomed home to rest by grandparents, Barry Sr. and Adelita Suazo, and Frank Sr. and Mary Rubalcaba, and many beloved family members.

A rosary and memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 10 a.m. at Martin Mortuary.
