Lester Elton Miller passed away Saturday morning, November 2, 2024, at Hopewest Hospice. Lester was born on December 20, 1929, to Carl E. Miller and Dora M. Peters. He attended school in Denver, Colorado, and went to Mesa College on a baseball scholarship in Grand Junction, Colorado. He enjoyed fishing, spending time in the mountains, bowling, playing bingo, and watching sports, especially baseball. He is survived by two daughters, Sheri Vasquez (Colin) of Port Orchard, Washington and Jari Holmes (Ron) of Casper, Wyoming; grandchildren Erin Smith (Mike), Luke Vasquez (Tiffany), Christi Nation (Bob), and Jayme Fox (Cory); great-grandchildren, Gabby Vasquez, Isabelle Vasquez, Bryce McKenzie, Reese Fox, and Cade Fox, and great-great-grandson, Briggs McKenzie. He is also survived by his brother Tom and numerous nieces and nephews. At Lester's request, there will be no services. Donations may be made to Hopewest Care Center in honor of Lester E. Miller's memory.
