Linda Christine Carley

Linda Carley, age 77 of Grand Junction, CO, passed away on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Eagle Ridge of the Grand Valley. Linda was born on September 10, 1944 in Roland, OK to Felix Barthel and Kathleen Whitaker. She spent her childhood in Roland, OK and was a former resident of Denver, Rifle, and Grand Junction, CO. She loved being a mom and loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed candy making, music, social gatherings and events. She loved traveling and meeting new people and the country music fan clubs of Johnny Horton, David Houston, Ernest Tubb, Johnny Western, and Lefty Frizzel.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Thomas, Roy, Henry, and Felix; and sister, Elsie.

Survivors include her son, Charles Carley of Grand Junction, CO; daughters, Erin Carley of Grand Junction, CO and Kathleen Barthel of Montrose, CO; her sister, Blanche Bash of Tampa, FL; her 2 Granddaughters, Alyx and Autumn; and her 6 Great Grandchildren, Katie, Carter, Elsie, Mira, Austyn, and Aurora.

A Celebration “Party” of her life will be held at the Grand Junction Church of Christ, 2893 Patterson Rd., Grand Junction, CO on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10am.
