Monika, I've often thought about trying to contact you about your mom, but I lost your address/email/phone. My husband and I had lunch with her a couple of times when we were passing through Colorado. And she and I worked very closely on our Ancestry trees for several years. I miss her and think about her often. 
We share the same 2ndgreat grandfather- WmBurnett. She descends from John Burnett, the only MO Burnett to move to Colorado. I've been to Rifle, digging around, but never have discovered why he went there, the exact year, and why. Still working on that.
I'd like to attach your mom to my tree now and just wanted to make sure that her mother is Geraldine, daughter of Elsie Burnett and Leonard Wells. 
Hope all is well with you. The last I remember is that you had a difficult pregnancy. And I hope this reaches you through the funeral home. We were just in Grand Junction for a couple of days.
