Lloyd W. Joseph, 13, of Grand Junction passed away at his home on January 29, 2015. Lloyd was born in Grand Junction to John and Kristy Lloyd. He attended Fruita 8/9 as an 8th grade student.
Lloyd was involved in many different things. In BMX, Lloyd was known as the “Pistol”. He spent many hours riding with his sister, Mickie (The Bullet). In BMX Lloyd finished several times in the top ten for state racing. He also has won over 225 trophies and awards.
Lloyd loved to go mountain biking on the Lunch Loop and Kokopelli Trail with his Pa Pa (Lloyd).
He always loved hunting with his Dad and Mom and has many trophies on his walls, including his first buck (a 5x3), a red fox, and a cow elk taken off of the “Smallwood’s” deck in Molina, CO.
Other hobbies he loved, but not limited to, were fishing (he caught a 28 lb. mackinaw at Flaming Gorge), 4-wheeling, roller skating, and snowboarding. Lloyd was always busy and never sat still. His favorite saying to his Mom and others was, “Just one more time.” Lloyd loved his family and friends very much.

Lloyd would tell people that he didn’t know “My name is Lloyd Joseph. You don’t know me yet, but I know you’ll like me.”
