Lori Ann Overbye

Lori was born in Grand Junction, Colorado on April 30, 1972 to Laurence and Connie Overbye.

She is a graduate of Fruita Monument High School (1991), Technical Trade Institute in Grand Junction (Associate Degree in Business Administration), and Mesa State College, now CMU (BA-Paralegal).

Lori was employed as a Paralegal for the law firm of Withers, Seidman, Rice, Mueller, and Goodbody. She specialized in Social Security cases.

Lori loved doing activities outdoors, spending time with her family, traveling when she had the opportunity, and loved all kinds of animals, especially her cat Sweet Pea.

Lori is survived by her parents (Laurence and Connie), brother (Todd), nephew (Jonathan) niece (Makenna), uncles and aunts (John and Aronda Bartman, Charlene Dedmon and Bruce Grounds), along with numerous cousins from the Overbye, Bartman, and Alstatt families.

Memorial service will be held at the Fruita United Methodist Church on June 1, 2026 at 11:00 am. Graveside service will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita, Colorado.
