

Margaret was born on June 27, 1949, in Colorado to Tomas Aragon and Ramonasita Madrid. She lived in La Junta, CO; Garden City, KS; Wichita, KS; and Las Vegas, NM, before settling in Grand Junction. Margaret graduated from La Junta High School and worked in the service industry. She was an active member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Margaret had a wide array of interests including playing puzzle games, painting, reading, cross-stitching, and watching westerns and crime shows. She also enjoyed folkloric dance, dancing to music of all genres, cooking, and collecting owls, dream catchers, and Native American knickknacks.
She is survived by her spouse, Eugen D. Sanders; her son, Arvis Sanders; her daughters, Ramona Gonsalez, Alison Wilson, and Roberta Manzanares; her sisters, Erlinda Nabor, Isabel Lucero, and Maria Sandre; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A Rosary and Celebration of Life will be held on August 24, 2024, at 12 p.m. at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church, 230 N 3rd St, Grand Junction, CO 81501.
