Marjorie "Marge" Price passed away at the age of 84 peacefully at Hope West on January 14, 2025. Born on September 10, 1940, in Gunnison, Colorado, she was the ninth of eleven children of Albert Andrew Heinecke and Mary Elizabeth Harding. She was raised in Western Colorado and attended GJ High School, Central High School, and Mesa College.
Marge married Merritt "Butch" Sixbey, with whom she had a son. After which she found her lifelong companion in Charles Norman "Pop-Gun" Price. Together, they had two daughters and raised their three children in Western Colorado.
Marge often shared that her greatest accomplishment was her three children. She enjoyed fishing, traveling, slot machines, playing cards, politics, cheering on the Broncos, and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.
Marge was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Norm Price, and her siblings Bill Fuller, Grant Fuller, Bob Heinecke, Jack Heinecke, John Heinecke, Mildred Belger, Joy Hooper, Elberta Shultz, and Wilda Dunton. She is survived by her brother Melvin Heinecke, son Merritt Sixbey Jr (Susan), daughters Katherine Wise (Chad) and Charlea Price, and nine grandchildren as well as 12 great-grandchildren.
