

Marjory Vivian Boothe, 93, of Grand Junction, Colorado, passed away on August 20, 2024, at Mantey Heights Care Center. She was born on October 4, 1930, in Plateau Valley, Colorado, to Wallace Earl and Vivian Adora Weimer. She grew up in Mesa County and attended Grand Junction High School.
On December 16, 1950, Marjory married Elbie Workman Boothe in Delta, Colorado. Elbie preceded her in death on December 4, 2019. Marjory was a devoted homemaker and lived in Grand Junction for sixty years. She was an active member of Monument View Bible Church in Fruita, CO, where she enjoyed contributing to the community.
Marjory had a passion for painting, drawing, reading, and spending time outdoors. Her warm heart and creative spirit touched everyone she met. She is remembered fondly for her loving nature and dedication to her family.
Marjory is survived by her sons, Richard L. (Carla) Boothe of Fruita, CO; Michael D. (Marsha) Boothe of Pahrump, NV; and Dennis W. (Darcy) Boothe of Las Vegas, NV; daughters Rhonda K. (Wayland) Ingram and Sharon G. (Charles) Ross, both of Grand Junction, CO; brothers Earl (Sandy) Weimer of Flagstaff, AZ, and William (Sherry) Weimer of Albuquerque, NM; and sister Judith Wyckoff of Grand Junction, CO. She also leaves behind twenty-eight grandchildren and thirty great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, at Callahan Edfast Mortuary. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at Monument View Bible Church in Fruita, CO, followed by a committal service at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to HopeWest Hospice, Mantey Heights Care Center or the Monument View Bible Camp for Children.
