

Marni Noel Aman Parks August 16, 1970 – October 5, 2012 Marni Noel Parks, age 42, died at her home, due to complications of Pneumonia. Marni was born in Hammond, Louisiana, to Ron and Joyce (Thomas) Aman. The family moved to Grand Junction in 1973, and Marni graduated from Palisade High in 1988, where she was a cheerleader. Her first marriage produced three beloved daughters, Shelby, Emily, and Kasey Leftwich. Marni was extremely bright and creative, full of laughter and sunshine and a joy to all who knew her. In 2001, Marni met Mathew Parks, the love of her life. They married in 2006, and Marni gained another daughter, Jasmine Parks. Marni was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved the Lord and was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Due to an auto accident in 2007, Marni was rendered unable to work or carry on with her life as she wanted. Survivors include her husband, Mathew; four daughters, Shelby, Emily, and Kasey Leftwich of Grand Junction, and Jasmine Parks of Utah; an infant grandson, Kolbie; parents, Joyce Aman of Grand Junction and Ron J. Aman of North Carolina; sisters, Rondelle (Brian) Simpson and Debra Clark, all of Grand Junction, and numerous other relatives. A memorial celebration will be held at 10:30 a.m., October 11, 2012, at the Victory Life Church. Inurnment will follow at New Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita.
