Marvin Bruce Carroll, 94, passed away peacefully at his home in Grand Junction, CO, on July 25, 2024, from natural causes. Born on February 1, 1930, near Hayden, CO, Marvin was a lifelong Colorado resident.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Winnie Carroll; his siblings, Kenneth Jr., Albert, Eugene, Nancy, Joy, Marlene, and Marjorie; his former wife, Kathleen; and his sons, Leon, John, and Bill. Marvin is survived by his former wife, Hellen; his sons, Joe, David, Tony, Daniel, and Kenneth; he had 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Marvin attended Mesa Junior College for two years and served as a Military Police officer during the Korean War. He had a passion for beekeeping and gardening and had a particular fondness for chocolate, especially chocolate cake.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on August 3, 2024, at the Church of Christ, 3233 B 1/2 Rd, Grand Junction, CO 81503. Refreshments will be served at the church following the service. Marvin was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
