Mary Jo Cady was the daughter of Joseph C Hurst, Cora L (Messmaker) Hurst. She was married to Lester D Cady. Mary Jo was born in Attwood KS, Homesteded Hartsel Co. The family relocated to the Grand Valley, Settled in Fruita after WWII. She married Lester D Cady, and started a family. They moved to Grand Junction in 1967.
She is preceded in death by both parents; 6 siblings, Lester D. Cady; 3 of 5 Children, 2 grandsons and 1 great granddaughter. She is survived by Valerie A (Cady) Groth; Francis G Cady (Frank and Karen Cady); 11 grand and 19 Great Grand Children. Numerous Neices and Nephews.
Viewing will be held at Callahan Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson Road, from 9-12.
Graveside will follow at New Elmwood Cemetary in Fruita, under the Pavillion at 2:00pm.
The reception will be held at Callahan Edfast Mortuary from 3:30 - 5:30.
