Maureen Elizabeth Mosher

Maureen Elizabeth Mosher passed away peacefully at HopeWest on Saturday, December 13, 2014 with her family by her side.

Maureen was born on March 29, 1938 to Jerry and Irene Carey in Denver, CO. She spent her childhood in Denver, Salt Lake Maureen Elizabeth Mosher passed away peacefully at Hope West on Saturday, December 13, 2014 with City and Grand Junction. She Graduated from Grand Junction High School in 1956.

Maureen married her one true love, Walt Mosher, in 1958. They were blessed with three children, Bob, Mike, and Julie. They were happily married for 56 years.

Maureen was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her first priority was always her family but she enjoyed working during tax season at the Hallies Tax Tallies. She loved to travel with Walt, gambling trips with family and Friends, and spoiling her grandchildren.

She is survived by son, Mike of Palisade; daughter, Julie (Chris) McCallum of Grand Junction; grandchildren, Garret Mosher, Devyn and Colton McCallum; niece, Tari (Tom) Folkestad.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walt; son, Bob; twin sister, Kathleen; little sister, Mary Anne; and both her parents.

Services will be held Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Callahan Edfast Mortuary.
