Michael was born on August 16, 1978, in Denver, Colorado, to Edward Rueben, Jr. and Letha Faye (Morrison) Fink. He spent his childhood in Idaho Springs, Colorado and graduated from Clear Creek High School. He worked as a corrections officer for the Clear Creek County Sherrif’s Department for 15 years. He was an avid outdoorsman. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, and rock collecting.
He is survived by his mother, Letha Faye Fink (73) of Grand Junction; his daughters, Keara LeeAnn Fink (25) and Mekiah Lynn Fink (23); brother, Matthew Vernon Fink (45) of Denver; and sisters, Carrie Faye Blackwell (49) of Summerville, Georgia, and Angela Lois Feather (43) of Grand Junction. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Rueben Fink, Jr.
