

Mike Rosendahl, loving husband, friend, father, brother, son, nephew and uncle, passed away at Community Hospital on Tuesday, August 1st, surrounded by his family. Mike was 64 years young and loved football (the Vikings), golf, softball, his boys, his work and his puppies. He was known as a big teddy bear. He battled a rare, aggressive, and painful form of cancer over the last four months and generously donated his organs to support the research of Ocular Melanoma and bone cancer.
Mike grew up in Westhope, North Dakota, the son of Janice and Garnet Rosendahl. He came to Colorado to work in the oilfield. He left the oil field and spent 13 years working for Holsum Bakery and then worked for Ergon as a Plant Operator until he passed.
He is survived by Lori, and three sons, Bobby, Ryan, and Ryley. Additionally, he is survived by his brother, Monte; sister, Mira; Aunt Lois; cousins, Brian, Brent, Becky, and BJ; numerous nephews and nieces, along with countless friends and colleagues. He is reunited in heaven with his mom, Janice; his dad, Garnet; his Brother, Mark; his son, Travis, and his Uncle Dick.

Mike was cremated, and a celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Tiara Rado Golf Course Clubhouse in Grand Junction, CO. Stop by anytime from noon to 2:00 P.M. for food and drinks. Dress will be casual. He will be buried in the family plot at the Westhope, ND cemetery on September 2nd at 1:00 PM.
