

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the Clifton Christian Church. Services will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be at Orchard Mesa Cemetery.
He was a truck driver.
Survivors include his wife, Connie; four sons, Michael of Rangely, Matthew of Clifton, Brian Jones of Arnegard, North Dakota, and Derek Jones of Clifton; three daughters, Alexis Wieberg and Aleisha Ackerman, both of Clifton, and Maryl Gladstone of Rangely; one brother, Gregory Wieberg of Olney Springs; two sisters, Carol McClesky of Valliant, Oklahoma, and Sandra Watson of Grand Junction; 21 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Michael (Mike) Ray Wieberg, 62, of Clifton, CO, went home to rest with his heavenly Father on May 21, 2106, surrounded by his loving family in the awesome care at the Hospice Center after battling cancer for years.
He was born April 16, 1954, in Moorhead, MN, to William and Beverly Wieberg. His family moved to the Grand Valley and he spent his childhood here. Mike worked in iron and metal recycling, but eventually found his love for truck driving, owning and operating his own trucking business for several years.
He liked fast cars, owning many throughout the years. He was a Mopar guy. Mike loved his family, hosting many gatherings for holidays and barbeques at his home.
Mike rededicated his life to the Lord June 3, 2012, in the Colorado River, and enjoyed fellowship with his church family at Clifton Christian Church.
Mike is survived by his wife, Connie; sons, Michael (Jenny) Wieberg, of Rangely, CO, Matthew (Jessica) Wieberg of Clifton, CO, Brian (Cindy) Jones of Arnegard, ND, and Derk (Micah) Jones of Clifton, CO; daughters, Maryl Gladstone of Rangely, CO, Alexis Wieberg and Aleisha Ackerman both of Clifton, CO; 21 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tanya Wieberg.
Visitation will be Friday, May 27, from 10:30 – 11:00 AM at Clifton Christian Church, followed by services at 11:00 AM. Burial will be at Oddfellows in Grand Junction.
