

She is survived by her husband, John of Grand Junction; mother, Irene Evans of Lehigh Acres, FL; daughters, Amie Suzanne Stubbs of Grand Junction, and Crystal Marie Gilliam of Clarkville, TN; brother David Singer of Kentwood, MI; sisters, Darlene Davis and Rebecca Hofreiter both of Levittown, PA; and grandchildren, Chandler, Christian, Haely, Kalyn, Jaxon, Arianna, Dejea and Jordan. She is preceded in death by her father, David John Singer.
Michele grew up in Levittown, PA, and graduated from Delhaas High School in 1976. She married John Lee Ferguson on March 14, 2010 in Grand Junction. She enjoyed 4-wheeling, ATVing, and camping. Michele attended Fellowship Church since 1992, joining the team of Pastors in 1999. She was the co-founder of Project Hope of Colorado which included the Celebrate Recovery Program as well as the Prom for the special needs community. Michele also led the ushers, greeters and prayer teams at Fellowship.
After a challenging year and a half long fight with cancer, Michele has finally gone home to be with her Savior. Michele also leaves a legacy of her incredible devotion and commitment for the Lord, her church family and her ministries. With love and compassion, she impacted the lives of everyone she came in contact with. Michele’s life was and will always be an undeniable light that shone for the glory of God. May her legacy always live on.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Fellowship Church, Grand Junction, CO. Memorial contributions may be made to Project 633, Fellowship Church.
