Mr. Monty Rundle

Monty Ray Rundle, 66, of Grand Junction, CO passed away on August 14, 2010. Monty was born October 31, 1943 in Paonia, CO to Robert and Mamie Rundle. Monty served in the United States Air Force. On March 30 1972, Monty married Peggy Erwin. Together they lived in Denver, Wheatridge, Golden, and Grand Junction, CO. He was a truck driver, a construction worker, a bus driver and a driller. He enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing and his family and friends. Monty is survived by his wife, Peggy Rundle of Grand Junction, CO; sons, Jeremy (Corrine) Rundle of Grand Junction, CO, James Rundle of Golden, CO, Emory (Michelle) Rundle of Orlando, FL, Robert (Lisa) Rundle of New Mexico; daughters, Amanda (Chris) Frost of Bucklin KS, Anada Rundle of Grand Junction, CO; brothers, Stanley Dove of Castle Rock, CO, Charles (Shirley) Rundle of Florence, AZ, Gerald (Jean) Rundle of Crawford, CO, Jerald (Judy) Rundle of Crawford, CO and Velda (Bob) Wilburn of Leesville, LA; five grandchildren, Draevyn, Haleigh, Belle, Mason and Zeke, and nieces and nephews and many others who called him 'dad'. Monty's special anecdote- If the good Lord is willing and the creek don't rise. Memorial Services will be on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 1:00 at Central Orchard Mesa Community Church, 298 34 Rd.
