Nancy Darlene Blohm

Nancy was born on December 5, 1955 in King City, California to Jerome and Betty Pura. She grew up in Pine Canyon and attended King City High School. She graduated in 1974. Nancy enjoyed making trouble (all in fun) with her good friends Vicki Macias (Meyer), Joanne Tisdel (Tognetti), Becky Iddings, and Toni Ingalls (Howard). These gals were full of fun and good times.

Nancy spent a majority of her younger days riding horses. One horse I can recall her riding quite often was Surefoot, although I am sure she had others. She attended many horse shows from her local home town of King City to Atascadero CA, placing in many of those events and bringing home those ribbons. She enjoyed riding not only competitively, but also enjoyed riding for fun with her friends.

Nancy moved in early 2000 to Naturita, Colorado. She spent much of her time managing the family hotel. On her down time she loved to hit up those casinos and gamble her little heart away until the sun came back up.

Nancy enjoyed making jewelry and ornaments. She would attend local farmer's markets and sell her pieces to those that shared the love of her art. She also absolutely loved taking joyrides on her side by side out on the many beautiful trails in Colorado. One thing Nancy said was, "Once I can no longer go out and ride my Rhino, that is when I will know time is limited".

Nancy is survived by her sons Robert Blohm of Colorado and Kasen Dedini of King City, her daughter and son in-law Jodi & Gerrod Dewey of Hollister, grand children; Dylan Alburger and bonus grandson Westley Soares, Joshua Silva, Austin Silva and wife Robinlynn all of King City, Jadeynn Dewey and fiancée Bryce Brewer of Aptos, and Noah Dewey of Hollister. She is also survived by her brother Randy Pura & wife Kathy of King City; nieces & nephews, Jamie & Rammy Morrison, Jill Stanford, Bobbie Pura, & Kristina Randall and several great nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

Nancy is preceded in death by her mother Betty Pura (Larson) and father Jerome Pura as well as her sister Janet Martinez (Pura), & Partner Glenn Jones.
