Nancy Boyack

Nancy, a life-long Colorado resident was 97. She passed away at her daughter's home in Bennett, Colorado. Nancy was born in Lamar, CO, August 26, 1923, to Roy and Mary Dey. She was married to William George Boyack in Rocky Ford, CO, May 8, 1942. To this couple four children were born, Gary L. Boyack of Fort Collins, CO, William Kent Boyack of Mesa, CO, Kathleen D. Miller of Bennett, CO and Mark P. Boyack of Mesa, CO.

She loved to spend time with her family and her family with her. Nancy is survived by four children, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Mom always had time for others. She loved having coffee with neighbors, who all turned into friends.

Mom and Dad made our family experiences wonderful - even trip preparation time was fun. Camping was especially close to all of us . Mom would keep the camp and read her Bible or Novel while the rest fished.

Mom was a very good cook and hosted many, many holiday meals with all the family coming. She worked tirelessly and received a lot of help from her daughter and daughter's-in-law.

Mom loved going to church, to worship Jesus.

She helped us with the hard questions - marriage and divorce, sending children to college, and Christian questions. Dad and Mom believed Proverbs 22:6 "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it"

She was always there for her family and extended family, with many specific instances too numerous to mention here. She had a way of making everything alright. Our mother believed in - Our Father. We always knew that was her great strength.

In the last year, her body wore out. She was challenged with skeletal pain, but did not complain as most would have. She taught us how to be tough.

Mom and Dad were an inseparable team.

Mom reminds us of how much love there is in this family with comments like, "I could not have been blessed with a more loving and helpful mate"
