

Paula M. Shook, 85, of Grand Junction, CO, passed away April 14, 2016. She was born October 14, 1930, in Hominy, OK, to James and Eliza Boswell. She spent her childhood in Lamar, CO, lived also in Basalt and Lakewood, CO, and has been a resident of Grand Junction for the past 14 years.
Paula was married to Glen Shook. He passed away July 4, 2006. She was a homemaker, support specialist, and truck driver. She was a member of the Goldwing Roadriders Association and the Sopris Snowmobile Association. Paula loved gardening, crafts, fishing, hunting, camping, waterskiing, and caring for family.
She is survived by her son, Roger Shook of Florence, SC; daughters, Linda English of Grand Junction, and Connie Vorhis of Golden, CO; brother, Herman Boswell of Republic, MO; six grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Glen; and sisters, Edith Tilly, Laverne Lucero, and Winifred Howell.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 18, 2016, at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
