Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Bookcliff Ward. Visitation will be one hour prior to service. Burial will be at 1 p.m. at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.
Mr. Mitchell was a carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Norma L.; four sons, Tim of Crawford, Steve of Fort Collins, Rex and Ivan, both of Henderson, Nevada; three daughters, Janet Jensen of Salt Lake City, Karen Mitchell of Mesa, Arizona, and Reva Rindy of Reno, Nevada; two sisters, Ione Fuller of Georgia and Carol Jester of Grand Junction; 51 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and four great great-grandchildren.
