Reginald Glenn Brown, who often introduced himself as “Puddin-tain, ask me again I’ll tell you the same,” passed peacefully from this life on January 5th, 2026. He is reunited with our Lord and Savior, his parents, and 4 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, 4 children, 12 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Reggie was born in Spokane, Washington, on August 30, 1936. He moved around quite a bit as a youth because his father served in the Military. He wanted to join the service himself, but was denied the privilege due to a history of migraine headaches. He did not mind moving around because it gave him the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. Reggie was a people person, he was always a kind and giving friend.
When Reggie was stationed in Georgia, he lived only 20 miles from one of those friends, although their paths did not cross until their families both moved to Denver, Colorado. There he met his beautiful bride to be Joan Marie Craven. Reg and his bride began their 70 years together in a double wedding ceremony with his brother and Joan’s best friend on May 27th, 1956 at Fitzimmons Army Chapel in Denver Colorado.
Reg grew up loving sports. He was an Eagle Scout, loved to play basketball, golf, and watch the Denver Broncos! He and Joan lived their first few years in Aurora, CO, where their first three children, Terrie, Linda and Beth, were born. In 1964, they moved to Grand Junction, Co, where their son, Glenn, was born. Reggie was the greatest Daddy and husband one could ever have!
Reggie spent his career as an electrical purchasing agent. In 1994, they moved to Sparks, NV. They lived there for 12 years. When he retired, they moved back to Grand Junction, CO, where he continued to golf and “yell at/ watch” the Denver Broncos.
A memorial service will be held in his honor at Martin Mortuary.
