Wes was a lover of music, having been in many bands in his younger days, but found his calling as a high school band director at many schools in several states including Texas, California, Nevada and Colorado. His bands won many awards and appeared in both the Cotton Bowl and Rose Bowl Parades.
After retirement, he and Judy owned multiple businesses in every place they lived. He will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him. A memorial service is planned for March 20, 2023 at the First Presbyterian Church in Grand Junction at 1:00 PM.
