Rex Adam Hyde

It is with heavy hearts, that I announce the passing of my loving husband Rex A. Hyde, Grand Junction, Colorado. Rex peacefully passed away at his home where he wanted to be the morning of April 21, 2025.

The beloved husband of Mary Kysar, and the Loving father to William R. (Randy) Hyde.

Stepfather to Deanna Cooper (Mike), and children, Joanna Kysar and children, Barbara Kaiser (Rick) and Margaret Ipatenco (Alek), and children.

Rex was born to Bill and Virginia Anne Hyde of Fruita, Colorado. Rex had 4 sisters, Machelle (Shelli), Amanda, Tamera (Tammy) and Dallas.

Rex was a 7 year Army veteran. Having spent time spent in Korea, and Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Rex’s was an highly educated mechanic. Rex was very much an expertise in the mechanic field, which included all types and makes of engines, from extremely Large gas, Diesel, Natural gas to the very smallest of engines. He dearly loved his line of work, and was very well known for his knowledge in it. Rex never missed a day of work until his health declined from cancer to the point that he no longer could work.

Rex loved the outdoors, hunting of large game, fishing, and camping in the high country. Rex loved his Border Collie Jase, and his Border Collie Tincup. Where ever Rex was his dogs were with him.

God bless his heart, he is flying high with his Angels now and is in peace. Per Rex’s wishes and request, there will be no services. We loved him dearly and are going to greatly miss him!
