Born July 20,1951 in Chicago, IL to Richard Lawrence Durmaj and Virginia Deloris Fris Durmaj. He married Julia Ann Keller on June 10, 1972 in Los Alamos, NM.They spent 30 years in Phoenix, AZ as a commercial and high end residential painter. When Richard retired in Auguse of 2006 they moved to Grand Junction, CO. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle.
Rick is survived by his wife of 54 years Julia Keller Durmaj, sons: Landon Durmaj of Surprise, AZ; Joshua Michael Durmaj of Scottsdale, AZ; Step-son Justin Keil Durmaj, one great grandson Corvin Michael; 2 neices, Kathleen Ann Blomker and Jennifer Porton; one Nephew Sean Flynn.
Rick is preceeded in death by his parents Richard Lawrence Durmaj, Virginia Delores Durmaj and sister Judith Lynn Barnett.
