Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Mr. Mahaffey was a supervisor with the U.S. Postal Service.
He is survived by one son, James M. of Rock Springs, Wyo; one daughter, Cheryl M. Roberts of Sunapee, N.H.; four brothers, Graham of Mahaffey, Pa., Bill of Maryland, John of Illinois and Thomas of Oregon; three sisters, Josephine Brubaker of Arizona and Louise Mahaffey and Elizabeth Mahaffey, both of Pennsylvania.
