Hi Honey, 
well I have to post this three times now, but for some reason it has not posted. So I will try again.
Just wanted you to know that I miss you, Its hard to believe two years have gone by. Some people can get over the loss of a loved one so quickly and move on, but its been hard for me. I am getting better, at least I think so, the kids say I am. 
I have a lot of good memories, and that is a plus. There have been a lot of changes this last year, you would be surprised at some of them. How people feel and how their values and feelings change, some good, some not so good. But I try to go on day by day.
You know Ron you made me feel young, I don't feel that way any more.
I miss the other half of my heart, I miss my soul mate, I miss my best friend.

It makes me happy to know that you are with my family tonight. In deciding what to make for dinner I had to figure out what to do with all the potatoes Tanner bought last week. Without thinking I turned to "Ron's Country Fries". As I stood there at the stove I smiled when I realized this was your little way of reminding me you are with us everyday. There was nothing better than your potatoes when we were up hunting or camping. Thank you for teaching me how to make them. We miss you so much, but I am so glad you are at my dinner table tonight. Love you lots and thank you for the hug.

I knew Ron from Ernst back in the early 90s. I had been looking for him on Facebook off and on so I could say hi.  I'm so sad that he has passed, and just 9 days before my mother did.

I really liked him as one of two assistant managers under Jeffrey Mills' management.  He was always cheerful and patient.  What a great guy.  I don't think I knew he had a twin.  

My condolences to his family.

So ive realized i havent been on here in a while.. Its still really hard. Going back and seeing all the kind words and memories from our family.. I still think of you everyday, memories still pop into my head and makes me miss you more. I cant really believe we're coming up on two years of you gone.. it still doesnt feel real.. You always told me to follow my heart and believe in myself. And believe me, i miss hearing you say that stuff to me. At times i really need to hear it, or just talk about our pictures. Or the serious talks we would have.
The last talk we ever had still runs through my head..telling me to follow my dreams, and not let anyone bring me down.. we even shared tears together that day. Some being sad, and some being happy... 
I took the first step in following my dreams, Im in Europe Grandpa.. You'd be so proud. I took many pictures, and i wish i could share them with you. Tell you all the stories and adventures ive had.
I miss you infinitely Grandpa. Im sorry i havent written in a while..

10 years ago today, you caught me as I fled across a sea of guests at my wedding. I was running from my new husband and his fist full of cake as he tried to smash it in my face after I sneakily smashed it in his. You were just as ornery as I am and you couldn't let me get away with it as I ran past you. This is the only picture I have of that moment when you grabbed on to me and let Tanner get me back. The day it happened it seemed like just another fun memory for such a wonderful day. What I didn't know was how much that memory really meant to me and Tanner, or how I would look back at that moment with such happiness and still feel sadness. I miss you. I miss the crazy messy food and shaving cream fights at yours and Grandma's house. I miss the ornery moments we were lucky enough to share. I love you. Thank you for sharing that day with us 10 years ago, for giving me so many wonderful memories, and for being my Grandpa. I love you.

I've avoided writing here because I haven't known what to say. Tonight I just want to tell you I miss you and I love you. I wanted so badly for you to meet Jackson. You always made me feel so good about being a mom.  You always helped to reassure me that I was doing the right thing when it came to Jayden. When the road to having another baby got tough, you pulled me aside and promised it would happen if I stayed strong, and kept faith. I know you see him now, and I know you are watching over us all. Please help me watch over my babies... and hold the ones that Tanner and I never got to meet.
 I will never forget our quiet moments standing in the kitchen, me tucked under your arm, and the family buzzing all around. I love you and I miss you.

I have nothing but good memories of Ron. I have had the privelige of being his friend for over 26 years. His smile, laugh and sense of humor will always be embedded in my mind. Torso man, is what I used to call him, which eventually turned into Gitter, short for Gitter Dunn. He was the most patient, easy going, meticulous, man I ever knew, and there wasnt anything he couldnt fix. He was at one time my, manager, then business partner,and hunting buddy, but more importantly he was a great friend to me and my wife. We will miss you Gitter...Your friend always Casey

Ron, you were an inspiration to me.  I will miss the time we spent together on your back porch, and all of the help and incite you provided in helping me grow as a man and the manager of this tile store.  Thank you for all of the help you gave me around the store and all of the clients you sent to me.  You are the man and I know you are looking down on me from heaven.  PS, I threw my can of chew away today and I know I need to quit.  Love you man.

I will never forget when I was just a little girl when you and my Aunt Patt got together and those were such wonderful good ol days. We used to come over every Sunday night and you became my most favorite uncle because your soon to be wife and soul mate was my favorite aunt.  I will never forget being the little annoying girl with the glasses that was so obnoxious.  I always used to tease you before you got married and called you my fav uncle.  I am honored that I was your candle lighter. Whats funny about that is I was so nervous and lit all the candles and none of them lit. I walked back to where I was supposed to go and remember my Aunt Patt was like oh know....but then all of a sudden they just lit up!  Like magic just like the the life you had with my Aunt.  After the ceremony when everyone was lined up in line you said to me I love you my neice! That meant so much to me I will never forget that. I will always hold a special place in my heart for you that will never be forgotten. The last time I got to give you a great big hug was at my wedding. We had our first dance and you and Aunt Patt were the first to come dance as a couple right next to us and I will never forget that. I love you and even though time and business keeps people busy with life you will always be my favorite uncle

Patt and I have known eachother since we were little kids.  So much has changed since those simple and easy going days. Jack and I had the privilege of knowing Ron. We use to see him on occasion but when we saw him at the cancer center, it was such a surprise. He told us he was a patient of Dr. Virgilio and I said, "I was too". It was then we learned how ill he was. Ron said Dr. Virgilio was doing everything she could but he had a challenging fight ahead of him. We were sad to learn of his passing because he was like a shining star, with a twinkle in his eyes. I know how much he loved Patt and how all of you will dearly miss him.

Ron was a dear friend to all of us at Ponderosa Window.  His talents were many.  He remodeled both of my bathrooms , and entry of my home.
