He was a traffic control supervisor.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Lee King; four sons, Daniel King and Dusty Johnson, both of Grand Junction, and Justin Meyer and David Meyer, both of Westminster; eight daughters, Natasha Jackson, Jasmine King, Caitlyn King, Angie King, Genny Heath and Vanessa Meyer, all of Grand Junction, and Danielle Meyer and Taylor Meyer, both of Westminster; his father, Carl King of Grand Junction; one sister, Sabrina Shires of Grand Junction; and four grandchildren.
