Shane Charles Hill

Shane was born to Danny Charles Hill and Beverly Grace on September 5, 1980 in Santa Cruz, California. He spent his childhood in Santa Cruz, California. He received his GED on September 5, 2008.

Shane was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church. Shane accepted the Lord into his life on December 8, 2013.

Shane loved camping, dirt biking, fishing, disc golf, floating down the river and spending time with family and friends. Shane was a member of the Grand Valley Disc Golf Club.

A special anecdote for Shane is sometimes a Knight in shining armor turns out to be an oilfield hand wearing coveralls and steel toe boots, so when you start yelling about oilfield trash, just remember us when your pumping your gas. My hitch is over, it’s time to go home, another one down, another gone.

Shane met and married Sharon Romero on February 12, 2014 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Shane is survived by his wife, Sharon Hill, parents, Danny Charles Hill and Beverly Grace. Two sons, Jack and Jacob Redd. One daughter, Abigail Rackliff. One Sister, Alesha Derry.

A Memorial Service on Friday, October 31, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Landmark Baptist Church in Grand Junction, Colorado. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Bank of Colorado, in Sharon Romero (Hill) name.
