Sharlyne Louise Hollenbeck

Born July 11th, 1939 in Cripple Creek, Colorado. She was the daughter of Clair and Frances Cottier. She attended and graduated Delta High school class of 1957. She was employed through School District 51 in the food industry. She worked at Palisade High School for nearly 20 years where she retired from in 2010.

She was a member of Landmark Baptist Church. She was deeply devoted to her faith and lived each day by his word. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafting, camping, fishing, cooking, baking and spending time with family and friends. She will be remembered for her strength, huge heart and her unwavering love for the Lord.

She is survived by her 6 children Cynthia (Greg) Summer, Debra (Bobby McDonald) Smith, David Hollenbeck, Rebecca (Eric) Sorenson, Rachelle (Paul) Carpenter and Kimberly (Aaron) Daily, 16 grandchildren, 22 great Grandchildren, a sister Sharon Cottier and several nieces and a nephew. She is preceded in death by her parents Clair and Frances Cottier, Brother Clair Cottier, Brother Richard Cottier, Sister Patricia Kenny, son-in-law Donald Smith, and granddaughter Shelby Hollenbeck.

Our mother will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The funeral service will be held on April 25th and 1:00pm at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, 2515 Patterson RD. Grand Junction Co 81505. Following the funeral service will be a burial at 2:30pm at Orchard Mesa Cemetery, 2620 Legacy Way, Grand Junction Co. 81503
