He was a railroad conductor.
Survivors include his wife, Ernestine; one son, Shawn of Reno, Nevada; one daughter, Cherie Tyndall of New Bern, North Carolina; one sister, Jean Dunn of Grand Junction; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
