Steven Ray Rhyne

Steven was born on May 10, 1957, in Grand Junction, Colorado, to Wendell and Leoda Rae (Briscoe) Rhyne. He spent his childhood in Grand Junction and Fruita, Colorado, and graduated from Fruita High School. He married Janet M. McClellan in Grand Junction, and sadly, she preceded him in death. Throughout Steven’s life he also lived in Westminster, Colorado, Craig, Colorado, and Indio, California, before settling in Desert Hot Springs where he spent the last four years. Steven worked as a security guard and attended the Church of Christ. In his free time, he enjoyed cooking and growing flowers.

Steven is survived by his brothers, Gregory Rhyne of McAllen, Texas, and Bruce Rhyne of Craig, Colorado.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at 10 a.m., at Martin Mortuary in Grand Junction. A committal service will follow at Glade Park Cemetery in Glade Park, Colorado.
